The long-awaited unveiling of Behind the Lens first began with the premiere test issue of Shawn Brooks Portfolio Magazine: Volume 1-the idea originated from the multiple requests and what is the magazine. Equipped with his Canon EOS 7D Canon EF70-200mm f2.8L , Shawn sets out to bring crisp, clear images that can double as wall portraits to advertising images in and of themselves. The magazine is entirely dedicated to photography and the the spaces it touches-which is everything. Behind the Lens features clients in thematic and up close and personal photo shoots focusing on the art of photography with Mr. Brooks’s signature touch. All 36 pages of the spread is advertising free set to hit the viral world twice a year with model Mia Kane gracing the cover of the September issue available now for you to peruse-chock full of crisp images.
Shawn Brooks, the celebrity photographer takes poetic license with every assignment from red carpet launches, celebrity photo shoots, strategic partnership branding and private engagements. One of the highlights of the year for Shawn is being the official photographer for TV One’s The Real McCoy and VH1’s Single Ladies star LisaRaye McCoy’s 3rd Annual Back 2 Business (B2B) Mix Down Weekend in St. Thomas and St. John Bay, US Virgin Islands (USVI).
